Rokujouma no Shinryakusha Review: A Hidden Gem The relationships are grown steadlily over the series and even by the end, season might not be in the works and that is really a shame as it ends in sort of a cliffhanger. Next thing he knows, not only is there a ghost trying to drive him out of his new home, but magical girls and other unique female characters turn this small. Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!? Spoiler Alert! I like that it's not a standard harem show and all the relationships seem to grow out of the.
So why not instead of girls going after a male harem lead, we make the entire cast go after something else instead? No one has ever done that before in the history of harem animes. Why make an anime to pander to a certain audience when you can pander to every single harem fan? The anime is a culmination of genres from all across the harem spectrum. It has magic, supernatural, science fiction, all fit into one convenient dorm room at the price of yen a month. But little did he know with his new independence lies foreign interests, with an invasion in mind for their personal gain. Right of the bat we could see that the road to a secure and peaceful life is not an easy one. Despite already acquiring the dorm unit legally, Kotaro Satomi is challenged by foreign invaders whom claim their right to the room and do not acknowledge this process simply because they had personal interest at stake.
These girls have a common motivation. They all wanted the D. The Dorm room to be exact. So let's take a look at all these interests at stake here. We begin with Sanae Higashihongan, a ghost girl. She depicts claims that historical rights precedes any other form of contract. Being the longest "unliving" tenant, her claim to the dorm room was because "she was there first. Nevertheless, she has proven that she could integrate with her new host, both benefiting from a mutually beneficial partnership.
Yurika Nijino is a magical girl. Often confused for a cosplayer, she represent the unfavourable view some hobbies are observed by certain part of society. Despite being made the comic relief and joke amongst the cast, she is undoubtedly one of the strongest, being able to avert crisis many times in the series.
Being a clutz, Yurika projects an image that even a powerful entity is not immune from ridicule and mistakes. Kiriha Kurano is a descendant of the Earth People. Her story depicts a civilization that at one point was blessed with great accomplishment but was forced to move underground for unknown reasons. Her people wanting to once again regain their glory days was split between two camps. Kiriha was a moderate aiming for a peaceful integration of their societies whereas the other significant following was leaning more towards terrorism.
Nothing less than a violent invasion would satisfy them even at the cost of innocent lives. She has a massive crush on him. She is apparently the reincarnation of the Ancient queen of Fortorthe. In the beginning, Koutarou would treat Harumi like a princess and behave like a knight around her. After volume 5, Koutaro would start treating her like he would his other friends. This often involves him teasing her and laughing at reactions that he finds cute.
She later inherited the memories and power from Alaia due to their overlapping feelings towards Koutarou, which granted her wishes to be of some use to Koutarou. Kiriha Kurano In the beginning, Koutarou saw Kiriha as the most troublesome of the invaders due to her polite and mature personality, forcing him to keep his guard up to avoid giving her his room.

From time to time, she would split back to 2 forms: Yurika Nijino At first Koutarou thought of her as a cosplayer.
Later when they fought evil magical girl Maki he realized it. They became really good friends later on.
She is the last person to realize that she is in love with Koutarou. Koutarou usually takes the role as Yurika's guardian due to her bad habits. Despite how roughly Koutarou usually treats Yurika, the other invaders have noticed that she the closest to Koutarou and the only one among them that he usually ask to do anything with.
Kiriha had explained that the reason for this is because Yurika is the only "normal" one among the invaders and the only one who won't have to eventually part with him Sanae being a former ghost, Kirika being from the underground, Theia and Ruth being from another planet. Shizuka Kasagi She is the landlord that rented the apartment to Koutarou for yen, and has unmatched martial arts capability that allowed her subdue the invaders and forced them to create the Corona Treaty to prevent any more physical conflict in acquiring room .

Ruth is the one who subjected to Koutarou that he should form his own band of knights due to his stature as the Blue Knight; and the first one to join the Satomi Knights.
Due to how much Ruth resembles her ancestor Flair, Koutarou often feels nostalgic whenever he teaches Ruth. She had first regarded Koutarou as an enemy to be eliminated, especially with his intrusion to her attempts to assassinate Theia.
By the end of Volume 7 however, Clan no longer treated Koutarou as an enemy and had instead tried to get his loyalty instead. It was revealed in volume 7.
